Kerry Tharp has been working in stained glass for 15 years. She owns Mosaics by Kerry Studio in Belgium, WI. She thoroughly enjoys teaching this art form to others and has led large mosaic mural projects in Ozaukee and Washington County and regularly offers classes locally. She breathes a contemporary flair into her own art, which primarily features color-rich art glass, handmade pottery pieces, and found objects. She is known for her bright stunning abstracts and her representational pieces reflecting water and woods. She brings life and movement to her art with intentional placement and choice of tesserae. Her inspiration arises from the natural surroundings of Upper Michigan and Wisconsin, emotion of color, and the interesting occurrences in the stained glass itself.
