Donnas lived out in the country all her life, never seemingly to have a green thumb for growing flowers. She has taken metals classes that helped her design and make copper flowers and other abstract designs, there is so much beauty to be captured,
which is where she find her inspiration from.

Mary is an abstract painter working with Oil and Cold Wax. Her paintings are intuitive and inspired by her love of nature and organic elements. She also works with fiber arts creating one of kind knitwear and hand crafted beaded jewelry.
Micki's work is a response to subjects that are often more felt than named, filtering out the need for illusion and representing the essence of a seen image, pre-verbal. Tapping into multisensory memories, a halfway world, leads to abstract shape, textures, colours, and marks in her art; this evokes the impressions of the internal and external landscapes we have travelled.
Laurie’s jewelry consists of shapes and spools that she designs and has made out of anodized aluminum. She then hand beads intricate color seed bead strips to be sewn onto these spools & shapes. These are then embellished with other beads, found objects and set stones. Colorful, lightweight aluminum, with beautiful hand beading. Where industry + art = beautiful alchemy."
Renee has a passion for flowers. She has a garden that blooms all throughout the summer in Wisconsin. It's only natural that she brings that beauty into her studio and puts it on a canvas.
Natural History Illustration is the combination of art and science. Karin Savage uses acrylic paints to bring plants and animals into focus on a canvas.
Susan considers herself a functional potter first but also loves working with glass and fiber. Each medium speaks to a different skillset and allows Susan to bring functional and purely artistic pieces into people’s lives. Susan is excited to participate in this year’s Studio Tour!
Color is what drives Lill’s creative experience. She finds great pleasure working with glass and her torch; crafting combinations of color and design that bring joy to the eye. Having made lampwork beads for over 12 years for jewelry designers around the world, she is now incorporating them into her own contemporary lampwork jewelry designs. Employing the finest quality materials and exacting processes results in wearable pieces of art that can be appreciated for years to come.
After photpgraphing nature on her morning nature hikes, Renee will select one of these images to paint. working in acrylic paint she will reimagine the scene on canvass.
My inspiration comes from life, nature, a word, an emotion. Sometimes I wake up with a color, image or feeling that needs to be released on a canvas with my palette knife and bright bold colors. My lifelong love is tapping into my intuitive energy and releasing it by creating art on canvases (sometimes walls) using textured oil applied with a palette knife. I address the easel as you would a duel, arm fully extended ready to do combat letting the energy flow!
