Kerry Tharp is a Wisconsin mosaic artist who ‘paints’ with art glass. Her mosaics depict the peaceful surroundings of Upper Michigan and Wisconsin; often water and woods, seasonal changes, and occasionally, an irresistible feathery friend. Specific glass cutting techniques result in organic-shaped tesserae and with intentional placement, they form the “brushstrokes” that breathe movement and energy into her paintings.

Lisa Brobst #15 on the 2019 Covered Bridge Art Studio Tour stop Oct. 11-13th

I strive to design furniture that is clean and elegant, interesting but not too flashy. I believe that good design is smart design.  It is the result of quieting all the extra noise and letting the natural beauty of the wood shine through.  My greatest influence was the late, great Steve Lacey who taught me that quality of construction and thoughtful joinery are key elements of good design.
