I strive to design furniture that is
clean and elegant, interesting but not too flashy. I believe that good design
is smart design. It is the result of
quieting all the extra noise and letting the natural beauty of the wood shine
through. My greatest influence was the late, great Steve Lacey who taught
me that quality of construction and thoughtful joinery are key elements of good
design.
