Katherine's life is driven by her desire to be inspired and to inspire. The universe, visible and invisible surrounds us, beckoning and asking us to see beyond what our physical eyes can see to what our being can see. Through those eyes she taken into her artwork.
The physical painting processes of grinding stones, breathing on clay, etc. connects Katherine to the physical world while the iconic artistic style and spiritual contemplation helps her to reveal images and translate the language of the mystical cosmos and human nature into the visible world of color, shape and symbols.
