Celebrating his 20th year shaping steel with fire, the art of blacksmithing has been a spiritual journey for Sam.  He combines the four ancient elements to make objects of art and function that will be cherished long after he is gone.  His hope is that people not only find his work useful in their daily lives, but are also inspired by it to create their own.

Jeremiah Backhaus is a blacksmith. He utilizes old tools, hot fires and split second decisions to make pieces for the home, the shop, and even the campsite! The process is the same as the ancient masters, but the application is as modern as imagination.
