Diane Boer-Henke #10 on the 2018 Covered Bridge Art Studio Tour stop Oct. 12-14th

I have been working with clay on and off for 35 years…
I am inspired by life and the faces of people I have met. Faces are like a map that can illustrate our experiences and emotion. I am wonderfully intrigued by the lines etched by time on each of us dwelling on this earth.

I welcome you to visit my studio and see what emerges from the clay….

Diane Boer Henke #25 on the 2015 Covered Bridge Art Studio Tour stop Oct 9-11th

 “Boer Works Ceramic Studio”
    Diane Boer-Henke
I have been working with clay on and off for 35 years.
Moving into a 1908 Foursquare home in Cedarburg with my husband Dave, I finally had the room to create a Boer Works Studio in the old pump room in our basement.
I have always loved clay as a medium. I am inspired by life and the faces of people I have met. I feel that faces are like a map that can illustrate our experiences and emotion. I am wonderfully intrigued by the lines etched by time on each of us dwelling on this earth.
I welcome you to visit my studio and see what emerges from the clay….
