"Junk Rethunk" is the unofficial name I've given my studio,
which began in 2003 after I sold my first piece (a wood tray made with
found objects, acrylic paint and resin). Since then my work has expanded
to acrylic paintings and a variety of refurbished items made from wine + beer
bottles, bottle caps, wine corks, palette wood and other random salvaged
materials. I also love working with glass and clay in my small home kiln. I'm
finding that as I age, my interests ebbs and flow... which is why it's typical
that my studios both at the Arts Mill and at home are filled with projects
using all kinds of mediums.
