Mary Ellen Mueller #19 on the 2018 Covered Bridge Art Studio Tour stop Oct. 12-14th

Mary Ellen Mueller holds a degree in art education from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater which included study in Florence Italy where she was introduced to the process of etching and the love of architecture.

She enjoys the detail of the etching process, the spontaneity and surprise effects of monoprints and the challenges of plein air painting. Mary Ellen enjoys commissions of architectural drawings of homes, buildings and landmarks.

Her self published book “A is for Amaryllis” incorporating the alphabet using the illuminated letter and teamed with flowers and their meanings is a labor of love.

Jack Pachuta #21 on the 2018 Covered Bridge Art Studio Tour stop Oct. 12-14th

Jack Pachuta takes a non-traditional approach to his subject matter. Combining printmaking techniques with the craftsmanship of pencil and ink renderings, his works are known for their vibrant colors and unique textures. Working with Paul Yank at the Ozaukee Art Center, Jack has developed his own distinctive style and artistic perspective. In addition to being a member of the Cedarburg Artists Guild, Jack is the president of the League of Milwaukee Artists and was a 2015 Featured Artist of Milwaukee PBS’s Great TV Auction.

Paul Yank works in Cedarburg where he converted a century and a half old brewery into large scale studios and galleries. Paul is a widely known sculpture and printmaker. He puts his heart into his art, whether it be sculpture or original fine art prints.

Paul has executed many commissions throughout the country and overseas. His extensive education and travels have inspired his art. The many different series of prints and the amazing metal sculptures can be seen in the various galleries of the Ozaukee Art Center

Judith’s art explores color texture and form through painting, printmaking and jewelry. The subject matter reflects her passion for nature, geology and abstract form. Much of her recent work combines images inspired by her natural stone jewelry with her oil paintings and printmaking which she has named “Gemscapes”.

Judith Kervin has a degree in art education and has taught in Wisconsin and internationally. In the 1980’s she transitioned into the graphic arts industry where she spent 18 years until she started back into her own art. Currently, Judith is exploring texture, color and form through printmaking , mixed media and jewelry. In printmaking she uses experimental techniques combined with mixed media to achieve dramatic results
