Haley Maxine Grebe was born legally blind and sees the world with no depth perception. She grew to love two dimensional art because she could transfer her view of the world onto a flat surface which is the way she had always experienced it. Some of her paintings and drawings focus on details in nature like her view through a magnifying glass while others become distant blurry impressionist landscapes. Working in acrylic or chalk pastel her colors are intense because she sees colors very intense since her eyes have little pigment.
