The Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts (WMQFA) is the only museum devoted to the creation, education, and preservation of fiber arts in Wisconsin. In 2011, an 1850's barn in Cedarburg was restored for use as an temporary exhibition space, preservation room, classrooms, and offices. The property also includes a farmhouse, summer kitchen, blacksmithery, lambing shed, privy, chicken coop, and corn crib all dating back to their use as a late 1800's working German farmstead. WMQFA offers quarterly themed fiber art exhibitions as well as both adult and youth educational programming throughout the year. We are dedicated to educating the public about the artistic, cultural, historical, and social importance of fiber art.
