Clarey
Wamhoff creates art in her wonderful Mequon home and studio which she shares
with her husband Mike and their miniature wire haired dachshund Madeline. Clarey says her work is a "Sense of place or the feeling of home has always been an
integral part of my life. She loves being able to explore the characteristics that
make a place special and then try to create that emotion on her canvas. Being
able to interpret a landscape and to evoke its identity and character in a way
that can resonate for the viewer is very rewarding." Clarey's paintings
are often described and both heartfelt and happy. Come see them for yourself
during the tour!!! You can read more about Clarey and her work at www.shakerlanestudio.com — with Clarey Wamhoff.
